Signature Wines is a leading provider of partner branded, award-winning wines including Elvis Presley™ wines by Graceland ® Cellars, seven University Alumni Association brands and our own nationally-distributed brand, Blackridge Canyon brand. The Blackridge Canyon is also available for personalized (weddings and special events) and private label programs (hotels, restaurants, clubs).
Worldwide Distribution
Graceland® Cellars was established in 2003 in association with its licensor, Elvis Presley Enterprises, in Memphis, Tennessee. As a licensee, Signature Wines has the worldwide sales and marketing rights to Elvis Presley™ images for the wine category. Signature Wines markets and sells the Elvis Presley™ Graceland Cellars® brand in 47 USA states and currently exports to six (6) countries.
The Elvis Presley Brand
Today, eighty-five percent (85%) of Elvis licensing rights are owned by CKX, a publicly traded entertainment property company. Lisa Marie Presley still retains the rights to fifteen percent (15%). CKX and its affiliates now provide the financial resources to build and promote the Elvis® brand, worldwide, to its maximum. Included in their ownership portfolio are: the licensing rights to “Mohammad Ali”, 18 acres on the Las Vegas, NV strip for a destination Elvis® Resort, Hotel and Casino, proprietary rights to the IDOLS television brand, development of real estate and attraction-based projects, including Elvis Presley-themed hotels, and lounges at Graceland®.
Celebrity Brands
Per the Nielsen Company, celebrity wines are up nearly 19% in USA grocery store sales since last year and represent nearly 1 % of total wine sales ($41.8 million). At independent and wine and spirit retailers, celebrity wines are growing at an 8% growth rate.
Grape Sourcing
The vineyards for our Graceland® Cellars’ brand are located throughout California, primarily along the picturesque central coast. A maritime climate rich with cooling breezes off the Pacific Ocean provides ideal conditions for flavor development. Warm sunny afternoons follow cool nights, an ideal combination providing the grapes with just the right balance.
Flavor Profile
Careful handling of the grapes and limited oak cooperage result in fruit-forward, flavorful wines. The Elvis® brand is bottled in Santa Rosa (Sonoma County), California USA. Appealing to the wine savvy and novice alike, our wine making style is fruit forward and lightly oaked for easy drinking, drinkable now blend for a casual dinner or fine dining with friends.

Signature Wines bottled the first vintage of Elvis Presley Graceland Cellars wines in 2003. Launched as a tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, Graceland Cellars is committed to producing the finest California varietal wines possible for wine lovers and fans of Elvis Presley. Signature Wines has an exclusive relationship with Elvis Presley Enterprises, the exclusive holder of all rights to Elvis image and properties, including Graceland in Memphis, TN.
And in 2004 Graceland Cellars was recognized by a very popular wine industry publication "Wine Business Monthly" with these Kudos: GRACELAND CELLARS - A WINE BUSINESS MONTHLY TOP 10 'HOTTEST SMALL WINERY BRAND OF 2004'. Interestingly, the most of the other "small" winery brands mentioned were part of major wine producers or importers.

This year is an anniversary year for Elvis®. It’s the 30th anniversary of his life, the 25th Anniversary of the opening of Graceland® Mansion to the public, and the 50th Anniversary of his purchase of his famed home Graceland.
To commemorate this event we launched a new Elvis varietal Stuck On You Shiraz and Elvis Always, a new numbered limited edition that follows the Elvis Presley Enterprises Annual theme.

Signature Wine Brands

Signature Wines also has its own wine brands, spanning an SRP range of $8.99 (CA) to $16.99 Napa Valley in the USA. The Blackridge Canyon brand has its own distinctive, upscale and impactful label.

Blackridge Canyon is available in three varietals from select Napa Valley or California wineries. Each varietal offered has rich fruit forward notes, silky mouth feel and extended finishes. They are smooth enough for the wine novice, yet have the depth and complexity for the wine savvy consumer.
